Based on a photo I took during my travels in New Zealand over the 2024-25 summer, I wanted to encapsulate the scale and detail of light hitting the mountains of Milford Sound. My main goal was to capture that first feeling you get when you arrive at Milford and see mitre peak towering out from the sea.
