In 2024, I travelled to Europe and at the end of our trip, we were lucky enough to pass through a few iconic locations in the Swiss Alps. On our very last day, we hiked up to Oechinensee in Kandersteg, and I was always inspired to paint this specific scene. I wanted to capture the warmth and greenery, and the towering stacks of mountains all around us, which I feel I have done.
